Small Pin Cushion Ring

An Eco-friendly re-purposed cap, fashioned into a fabulous and practical piece of functional jewelry.  This fun and funky ring has vintage french ribbon around the base complimented by a lovely brocade which bubbles over the top.  What is special about this bauble is that it is stuffed with very fine steel wool and is made to be a pin cushion in addition to a fashionable art accessory.  Each time you insert a pin in your ring, the steel wool will sharpen your pins (quite effectively in my experience!).  These are perfect for the sewer or quilter in your life and are a great alternative to the standard pin cushion or even those worn on the wrist.  Soft pink elastic makes the "ring" so it expands and contracts to a wide variety of sizes.
