Dr Who Apron

     Feeling a little wibbly wobbly timey wimey?  Which Dr of the 12 is your favorite?  I'm afraid if I admit to which Dr Who I first remember watching I'll date myself (suffice it to say it was on PBS)!

     This apron was inspired by the cult classic sci-fi television series Dr Who.  Featuring Tardis - "police box" fabric, and very special "tick mark" custom embroidered bows, along with a large embroidered, applique "DW" emblem - complete with tiny fez, this apron will thrill any Dr Who fan, be they seasoned or new.   The clouded yellow fabric's purpose is to evoke a sense of alien presence and time travel.  

   This work is a little more expensive than some of my others due to the time and expense involved in the 3-d embroidered  tick-mark bows (which refer to the marks the Dr and his friends made on themselves when in the presence of "the Silence"  aliens in the episode - "Day of the Moon") and the extensive work involved in the DW applique.  Additionally, great quality, pre-washed, 100% cotton fabric is used throughout.
